Brittany & Milan’s Story

Brittany met Milan while interviewing for an internship position at the marketing firm where Milan is a web designer. Milan was so enamored with Brittany’s charm and intelligence, he hired her on the spot.

Brittany invited Milan to take her out for dinner, which he still insists was a “work meeting.” They had such a good time on that date and the dates following, they would think up different things to do and places to go so they didn’t have to say goodnight. They’d go to dinner, then to see a movie, then to a bar for a drink, then somehow they’d end up at Denny’s at 2am eating pancakes.

March of this year marked 6 years they’ve been together, and every day still feels like one big date night.

The Wedding Party

Alexa Jones
Maid of Honor

Alexa and Brittany became fast friends while working together at Wyse Advertising, and have been work wives (even from afar) ever since.

Kim Lewis
Bridesmaid

Kim and Brittany were roommates during her senior year at BGSU, and co-mothered the beautiful Daisy Doodle tabby cat.

Cassidy Rodano
Bridesmaid

Cassidy is Brittany’s cousin, and has been present for far too many of Brittany’s most embarrassing childhood memories (Please don’t ask her to share any at the wedding).

Meghann Utrata
Bridesmaid

Meghann was Brittany’s teacher at Tri-C, and has been a friend ever since. She’s lovingly referred to as her “teacher-friend” to most of Brittany’s friends and family.

Petar Micic
Best Man

Peco was Milan’s very first friend in America, after they met in the bathroom of their elementary school. They ended up spending a lot of time in that bathroom, skipping class.

Petar Erak
Groomsman

Petar is Milan’s older (and as he might say) wiser brother. Their brotherly love is quiet, but unbreakable.

Milo Dragutinovic
Groomsman

Milo is one of Milan’s best high school friends, and his go-to fishing buddy. Every conversation is a battle of wits, or a scientific debate.

Tyler Rodano
Groomsman

Tyler is Brittany’s cousin. Milan and Tyler do much of their bonding over constant ridicule of Brittany.

The Day They Got Engaged

Milan took Brittany on a romantic trip to Paris in October, 2018. Although it was late in the fall, the weather was brisk and sunny almost every day. They stayed in an apartment in the 15th Arrondisement that overlooked the Metro, a flower market, and the south-west face of the Eiffel Tower. It was on the sixth floor with only a creaky wooden spiral staircase to get them up there but the view from the balcony was worth the climb.

Brittany had a hunch that this vacation would be an important one, but after two days she started getting nervous and disappointed. (One of Milan’s favorite activities is giving Brittany a hard time, and Brittany still hasn’t caught on, even after six years.)

Late one night, after a dinner of french baguettes and jam and wine, just as soon as Brittany had given up hope, Milan got down on one knee in the apartment’s tiny living room and proposed while the Eiffel Tower sparkled in the background.

It might have been the wine, but the twinkle of the ring, the twinkle of Milan’s eyes, and the twinkle of the Tower made the night feel like a dream.

The Registry

Brittany and Milan believe that your presence on their most special day is what matters most, and hope you can join them; however, if you wish to bring a gift, they have registered at the following places. Please click to be directed to their registries.
