Responsibilities Deliver hands-on training in rodent husbandry and technical procedures (e.g., injections, blood collection, euthanasia) Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Coordinate training schedules and requests across departments to support onboarding and upskilling Observe and evaluate trainee performance, providing feedback and retraining as needed Maintain accurate and audit-ready training records and certifications Support animal care operations when needed, ensuring high standards of welfare and compliance Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols in all facility environments Requirements Bachelor of Science or Associate degree, Veterinary Technology Minimum 3 years of animal care or handling experience AALAS from the Laboratory Animal Technologist level (LATG), required, proficiency in rodent handling, bio methodology, and restraint techniques, anesthesia, euthanasia, injections, and blood collection Strong documentation and report-writing skills Knowledge of PPE protocols and barrier/containment facility practices Ability to work independently and support staff in training environments; strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and data collection systems System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
