Job Description

The law firm of Robles, Rael & Anaya, P.C. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for assisting with legal research, drafting legal documents, negotiating contracts, and representing clients in litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to gain valuable experience and contribute to our firm's success. Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics using Westlaw - Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs - Assist with negotiations and settlements - Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials - Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files - Provide legal advice and guidance to clients - Attend client meetings and depositions as required Skills: - Strong research and analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in legal administrative tasks, such as organizing documents and managing deadlines - Ability to draft clear and concise legal documents - Knowledge of legal drafting techniques - Experience with litigation procedures and courtroom etiquette - Familiarity with Westlaw research platforms - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Admission to the State Bar of New Mexico - 0-3 years of experience as an attorney required, but exceptional entry-level candidates will be considered.
