News Department-WJW Fox 8 Cleveland, Ohio Reports to: News Director Position Summary Associate Producer assists in the writing and production of the newscast, as well as contribute to our digital platforms and help out on the assignment desk. Responsibilities include but are not limited to…

Writing for newscasts
Fill in as a line producer
Assistance to newscast producers
Assistance to assignment editors
Occasional field work gathering interviews and video with photographer
Studio production work including assisting guests
Contribute to digital and social media platforms as directed

Requirements: Ideally, Associate Producers have two years or more as a Producer in a smaller market. Additional experience working on newsroom websites and social media platforms and the assignment desk is a plus. Salary ranges based on experience. $42-50k #J-18808-Ljbffr Nexstar Media Group
