Overview

The Civil Designer develops and prepares technical drawings, plans, and related documentation to support engineering, real estate, legal, and construction activities for commercial site development. This role collaborates with internal teams and external consultants to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality design deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise site plans, grading plans, exhibits, and related documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Interpret and apply data from boundary surveys, topographic surveys, legal descriptions, and civil engineering reports.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Standardize design processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage multiple priorities based on critical timelines and complexity.
• Occasionally maintain design standards and provide AutoCAD support resources.

• Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Autodesk Civil 3D (2020 or newer).
  • Field experience in construction or pre-construction preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; document management software experience a plus.
