Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste removal and recycling services throughout Australia for over 90 years. An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and suitably qualified Contract Manager to oversee the effective running of our City of Joondalup municipal waste contract, based in the Malaga area of Perth, WA. This is a challenging position in a busy environment, providing an essential service to the community. You will have responsibility for the excellent service provision required by our Council partners and customers. The role has accountability for the performance of the Joondalup municipal waste contract, collecting household waste across a wide region. You will be responsible for the direct management of an Operational team, consisting of an Operations Supervisor, Leading Hand, and approximately 20 drivers. Ably supported by the WA Branch Manager, you will be guided and supported by an experienced company leadership group as you learn the business. As a part of our Solo team, you will benefit from:

To be successful in this role you must:

• Have the ability to communicate effectively;

• Lead by example and take initiative for action;
