(2 positions open) The AutoCAD Designer will support pipeline and facility projects by producing mapping and design deliverables for an energy company. What will you do? As an AutoCAD Designer, you will: Create pipeline designs and drawings based on project scope and field data. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and ESRI tools to assist in design development and updates. Work closely with Mapping and Survey Leads to support ongoing projects. Assist in resolving basic technical drafting and design issues. Help manage multiple drafting tasks to meet project schedules and quality standards. What are the requirements? This position is open on years of experience. Could be entry-level or senior-level. Associate’s Degree in Design/Drafting, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field or exposure to the industry 0–2 years of drafting experience Previous exposure to Oil & Gas Mapping or Survey work is a plus Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (can be from school) Basic experience with ArcPro and Microsoft Office General understanding of pipeline or facility project environments is a plus Interest in learning ESRI and Autodesk products 10–15 years of drafting experience, with at least 6 years focused on independent design work High School Diploma or GED required; Associate of Applied Science in Design/Drafting preferred Extensive experience designing pipeline, plant, and facility projects Proficient in AutoCAD applications, with the ability to mentor junior staff Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and stakeholder requirements Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical and operational issues Able to balance multiple priorities, lead collaboration, and communicate clearly with internal and external partners You would be really happy working here if: You enjoy working through design challenges and contributing to a collaborative team.
