About the Company

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Technical Project Coordinator to support projects within our Telecommunications Division, specializing in Fiber, DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), network integration, NOC support, and structured network cabling. This role will serve as a critical link between project managers, field teams, clients, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with industry and client standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of telecom infrastructure, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Support

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing telecommunications projects.
  • Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are delivered on schedule.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines; prepare regular project status reports.

Technical Oversight

  • Support deployment of fiber optic networks, DAS installations, AT&T carrier-grade systems, and network cabling projects.
  • Work with engineers and NOC teams to document and troubleshoot issues during deployment.
  • Review technical drawings, as-builts, and installation documentation for accuracy.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring timely updates and resolution of concerns.
  • Maintain positive relationships with AT&T and other carrier representatives.
  • Coordinate site access, permits, and inspections with property managers and local jurisdictions.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, contracts, material usage, and change orders.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, FCC, NEC, and company safety standards.
  • Assist in compiling close-out packages, redlines, and turnover documents for client approval.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in telecommunications project coordination or similar role (fiber, DAS, wireless, structured cabling, or NOC environment).
  • Familiarity with fiber splicing/OTDR testing, DAS deployment, and BICSI practices is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management software (Smartsheet, Procore, etc.).
  • Knowledge of network cabling standards (TIA/EIA), RF principles, and telecom infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
