As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual activity, responding to inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $14.90 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous presence.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific guidelines and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals entering the location.
• Remain alert to unusual activity or potential security-related concerns at the front desk and report findings according to established procedures.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
