About us

Legion Security is a professional security firm specializing in contract and private security services, including executive protection. We provide a high level of security personnel for a variety of locations, including bars and restaurants in downtown Charleston and the surrounding areas. In addition to venue security, we offer security for events throughout the Charleston area, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and employees alike. Our team is committed to maintaining professionalism, vigilance, and a strong security presence to meet the unique needs of our clients. We are looking for part time employees. With the possibilities of full time employment.

The majority of our hours are late night, 8PM-2AM. Thursday-Saturday. There are sites that operate 7 days a week with various hours also available.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• SLED license (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
