Now Hiring for Warehouse Order Pickers in Cedar Rapids, IA

Our client is a nationally know beverage distributor. 

This is a long-term temporary position, but for the ideal candidate this could become temp-to-hire.

SHIFT: 8:00am to 4:30pm, overtime may be required and is a job expectation.

PAY: $20.50/hour

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and the ability to read, understand, and follow directions You must be able to follow work procedures and safety rules, and have solid experience with warehouse operations

The Warehouse Worker / Order Picker duties include:

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and product descriptions using voice audio headset.
• Hand stacks cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively from floor to over-head throughout the duration of the shift.
• Place the beverage products in a defined stacking pattern onto the pallet.
• Hand shrink wrap customer orders with label and move completed order to the loading dock staging area using electronic pallet jack or walkie-rider equipment.
• Report all product discrepancies or quality issues to supervision including damaged product, wrong store number, equipment issues, etc.
• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and help to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Adhere to good housekeeping standards.
• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with Powered Pallet Jacks and/or Walkie/Rider Equipment
• Understanding the importance of completing daily inspection of equipment
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack and RF scanner
• High school diploma or equivalent
