Job Description

Our client, a dedicated provider in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary team supporting the nutritional needs of residents. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, a passion for cooking, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Rice Lake, WI

Pay Range: $20-$23 based on experience

Shift: 10:30 am to 7 pm (with possible adjustments)

What's the Job?

• Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with dietary guidelines.
• Collaborate with another cook to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with dishwashing and support dietary aides as needed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices.

What's Needed?

• Prior cooking experience, preferably in an institutional setting.
• Food certification is a plus and may be required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks as needed.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.
